The River in Gardina

At the edge of the forest there was a river. The purest and cleanest natural water was flowing from it. It led out to a little village where some elves and other creatures lived. Including Elena and her family. She had went out to the lake alone. It was in the afternoon and it was quiet. So quiet that it almost wasn't even comfortable. When she stood by the river's edge she bowed down and sat by it. She looked into the water. She could see her own reflection in the water. She sun shone down upon everything in and outside the forest. Not even the trees could avoid the light to reach the ground. The goblins preferred not to be in the sun for too long, but on this beautiful day they were forced to. She let a hand reach to the water, making little circles of water reaching to almost the far end of the river on the other side.

Elizabeth was walking down the river edge, rushing more and more far away from Antheliqa. She puffed, kicking some earth from her way. Tears were rolling down her face, and she didn't even tried to hold them back anymore. What for? No one's gonna see her anyways. She felt as if she was unable to breathe properly as she was trying to hold sobs. She was so upset that she didn't even noticed a girl sitting by the river edge on the other side. She didn't see a rock she tripped on. She didn't see anything anymore. Elizabeth moved back her legs, not bothering to get up. She sighed and dipped them into the water, not looking anywhere but str8 in front of her. She wiped of her tears and kept looking forward. She still couldn't believe what was happening to her.

At first, Elena didn't see anyone. Not even when the girl tripped she noticed. She threw a look around though, and there was a girl looking sad. She sighed. She didn't look like an elf. She looked human. She got up, and walked towards her. She sat down next to her. She sent her a little smile.
"Hey. Saw you and thought you looked a little sad. Is something wrong? And do you mind some company?" She asked with a smile. She wanted to comfort her and tell her that everything was alright. But yet she didn't know anything about her. She didn't look like she was from Gardina.

Elizabeth flinched a bit when a girl sat down by her. She rose her face up and looked at her. "Hey... I am... I will be okay, and no, I'd enjoy company actually." she said and forced a little smile. "I am Lizzie. Well, Elizabeth, but call me Lizzie." she said and extended her hand for a handshake. She looked at her more close, realizing she was an elf. "Are you from Gardina?" she then asked, curiously.

"Thanks. Has something happened to you?" She asked, and replied her smile though she could see that she wasn't entirely happy. She was just trying to be nice.
"I am Elena. And yes, I am from Gardina. As you might know, I am an elf. And you?" She asked, her smile soon turning wider. She was a very cheerful loving girl, she'd always been.
"Where are you from? Are you human?" She asked, curious. Not many humans came around often.

"I am okay, I'll live." she said and slightly sighed. "It's just... My mother and father are trying to control my life even more than usual." she huffed, looking furious for a moment, making little waves, unintentionally. Then she took a deep breath, calming herself. She didn't want to make a cunami or anything. Then she smiled a bit wider, already feeling better for telling this to someone, even if someone was a complete stranger. "I am super natural." she said and smiled softly. "I am pri... I mean, I am from Antheliqa." she said and grinned.

"Oh. Protecting parents. You've got a pair of those?" She asked her.
"I've lived with mine for 17 years and never died. And I'll live 17 more with them if I have to." She said, sending her a wide smile, trying to encourage her. "But if it's something you want to talk to you know I'm here. Even if I'm a stranger. I've still got ears." She said.
When she said she was a supernatural she wondered how it could be; She met two supernaturals in one day. "Wow! So you like... Control some element?" She asked, since it was all she knew supernaturals who did.

"Yeah...: Elizabeth said and grinned slightly. "I love mine a lot, but they often piss the hell out of me." she said and shrugged. "Especially since my brother run away." she said and frowned. "He was hiding in Evardah for a long time. Still does. And my parents are giving me a hard time coz they know I know where he is. But I wont betray him." she explained. "it's his life, he should be supposed to do or be whatever he want." she said. Then she looked and rose her hand, extending it. It suddenly seemed as if it became transparent, but no. It bcame water, keeping shape of her hand. "Water is my thing." she said and smiled widely.

"I'm sorry that your brother ran away. Do you sometimes think about doing the same thing?" She asked, wondering if Lizzie actually had run away to Gardina too. She smiled a little. "Yes, your life if yours and nobody else's. But sometimes parents can be helpful and they're often right about what they say, I know. It's just not always we think of them as persons who actually have been young too." She said. She wrapped her hands around her knees, watching Lizzie's hand as it suddenly turned into something different. She couldn't see what it was at first, but then she realized it as she told her. "Wow. So you control water and you're from Antheliqa. Are all people from Antheliqa capable of doing that? The thing you just did with your hand." She said, enjoying their conversation as it had turned interesting.

She shrugged. "Maybe they are, maybe I will be thankful, but not now." she said and chuckled. "Mother want me to be a perfect doll and father is too protective." she said and sighed deeply.
"Not everyone can take water form." Lizzie said and smiled. "I can't take it... completely yet. I mean, I can't become water completely, but I will be as I grow up." she added and grinned.
She though about her question, replying to others first to gain time. "I did think about it, but... I don't want to ran away coz... Well, my parents lost a child when my brother abandoned them and gave up rights to be the Heir." she sighed, suddenly frustrated. "I can't leave them. Not me too." she explained.
